For general purpose fastening for everything from an anchor bolt to a through bolt, all threaded rods and studs (Gewindestangen und Bolzen) are used. Stainless steel is one of the possible grades and materials. There are numerous strengths of threaded rods available at GDPA Fasteners. The standard finish for low carbon all thread and studs are zinc or galvanised. For common situations where a high strength connection is unnecessary, low carbon all thread is employed. It is frequently employed for foundation anchor bolts (Ankerbolzen des Fundaments) as well. Heat-treated alloy steel called B7 is utilised for all threads and studs when a stronger connection is required. B7 all thread is available in plain, zinc, or galvanised finishes. Any thread rod can be cut to the desired length and chamfered to create studs. These studs are available in a plain finish, zinc finish, or galvanised finish. B7 studs are typically required in building projects involving chemicals and the petroleum industry. For high temperature or high pressure applications, such as pressure vessels, valves, flanges, and fittings, this material is employed.
